Alanya-Gazipasa airport, GZP
At the moment there is a construction of runway extension at Alanya-Gazipasa airport.
Council of Ministers made a decision on May 2014 to increase the length of runway as specified in these pictures below.
This specified area has been expropriated from the landowners.
Terminal building is also expanded three times bigger than it was before and
airport terminal offers now many more services to travellers, such as café & restaurant, tax free shop and spacious parking areas etc.
The capacity of Alanya-Gazipasa airport has now increased to 1.5 million passengers a year.
So, for the next 2015 season, there will be more flights to/from Alanya-Gazipasa airport.
Notice! Now, while the construction of runway is in progress in Alanya-Gazipasa airport,
some flights may partially be transferred to the airport Antalya airport (AYT),
